We know that talking to people about abortion is one of the most intimidating and important things you will ever do. That’s why our mentors are at the core of our training experience.

Our mentors are more than teachers - they’re friends. As you experience each phase of the Abortion: From Debate to Dialogue program, your personal mentor will individually answer your questions and encourage you. Your mentor will model how to start conversations and keep them productive. He or she will be there to debrief with you after your conversations and to pray with you, too. After your first training experience, your mentor will still be available to you, personally, and will remain a resource for you as you take what you’ve learned back home to your own sphere of influence.

Office of Life, Justice and Peace - Archdiocese of San Antonio

The Office of Life, Justice and Peace exists to carry out the Social Mission of the Catholic Church. We uphold at all times a morally consistent ethic of life that respects the dignity and sanctity of the human person from the moment of conception to natural death.

With Catholic social teaching as its foundation, the Office of Life, Justice and Peace promotes the development of Parish Social Ministry throughout the Archdiocese. Our Mission is to ensure that Catholic social teaching is integrated into the personal lives of all Catholics at every level of the church.

We strive to help Catholics “put their faith into action” through direct service, formation, community engagement, legislative advocacy, local and global solidarity. We collaborate with parishes to promote integral respect life and social justice formation programs.

We seek to provide resources and coordination for the development of life, justice and peace ministries, empowering parishes to address the unique needs of the diverse regions of our Archdiocese.

We work together to build the Kingdom of God here on earth and to achieve personal and social transformation as followers of Jesus Christ.

Patrick Duffy, Jr., Director (210)734-1655,

The St. Joan of Arc Brigade’s mission is to respond to our Holy Father’s call to advance and strengthen the culture of life and to foster the conversion of souls through prayer and works with unwavering fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The Central Texas Coalition for Life is a grassroots community-based non-profit organization that draws attention to the injustice of abortion through prayer and fasting, community outreach and peaceful vigils on the public right-of-ways in front of abortion facilities in Austin, Texas. We network with numerous pregnancy centers, community healthcare clinics, life-affirming medical professionals and other resources to help women and their families find real, life-affirming alternatives to abortion. We also offer resources for women with abortions in their past to find hope and healing. The Central Texas Coalition for Life is the bridge between abortion facilies and these community resources.

We are you. Your mothers. Your fathers. Your teachers. Your pastors. Your friends. Your brothers. Your sisters. We are the ones who mourn the loss of beautiful potential. Abortion is a human tragedy no matter the race, but nowhere in America is it more prevalent than in the Black community, where nearly 40% of all pregnancies end in induced abortion. In order to cherish and protect the beautiful potential of human life (women, men and unborn children), this powerful campaign exposes an industry that profits from deception and destruction. One abortion is too many when there are life-affirming choices and resources available to everyone.

We will promote traditional family values, from a Biblical worldview, to produce strong and healthy families where babies are safe and able to reach their full potential in life. Through education and awareness media campaigns, community events, political action, lobbying and coalition building of prolife and pro-family advocacy groups, we will restore Life, Family and Hope in the black community.

Over the past 18 years, this unique legal ministry has brought together thousands of Christian attorneys and like-minded organizations that work tirelessly to advocate for the right of people to freely live out their faith in America and around the world.
